I am from Kvænangen/Skjervøy in Northern Norway, and I have been passionate about design and technology ever since I learned to code as a child and discovered the joy of making websites.
Today I use coding as a design tool, and I believe it can be a valuable tool for prototyping, especially in collaboration with generative AI, making it possible to do faster design iterations and get real feedback from users. However, I still prefer to code by hand during the creative process and only get assistance from AI when needed.
When I am not working on various design projects, you can find me at the yoga studio, walking outside (preferably somewhere with trees), at home reading books or listening to music (mostly electronic) or in the kitchen making vegan food with good company.
Includes industrial design and service design, but with a specialization in interaction design. Elective courses includes behavioral design, systems-oriented design, branding and platform urbanism – among others.

Designer and developer @Self-employed
Worked with design and development of websites and digital tools for companies in Northern Norway, and was the product leader and CTO of a startup company.
With one designer and two developers, I worked for Sparebank 1 in the pensions department, and helped design an MVP that uses a language model to make it faster and easier to handle cases that must be processed manually.
A full-time internship where I worked with interaction design on the research project OpenZero, making design standards for user interfaces that enable ship operators to make energy efficient decisions. I also contributed to the new release of the design system OpenBridge.
Together with another student and under the guidance of the OpenBridge team, I designed an innovative alert system providing ship operators with rapid situational awareness upon entering the bridge.
I worked with social media for Becour and helped design a landing page for Marbly, a platform that makes it easier for companies to source renewable energy.
A part-time position alongside my design studies. Together with another developer, I was coding websites and landing pages for companies like Hagal and Stiftelsen Gullruten.
I designed and coded websites for companies like Lo:Le Landskap, Barlindhaug Eiendom, Svalbard Bryggeri, and Norinnova. I worked closely with each client, and also had the opportunity to help facilitate design workshops.
A temporary position where I stepped in for another web developer and coded websites from scratch using WordPress as a CMS. I learned about usability, accessibility, search engine optimization and security.
