The world's northernmost craft brewery
Svalbard Bryggeri is the world's northernmost craft brewery. It all started with a dream to share the Arctic with the rest of the world. In 2015, the founders helped change the alcohol law on Svalbard, which made it possible to open a brewery just south of the North Pole.
The new website was meant to highlight the nature and rawness of Svalbard, and it needed to feel alive. It was important to communicate that the brewery is the world's northernmost, and to make it clear exactly where on the globe it sits.
Throughout the project I was involved in the entire process, but my main focus included structuring the content, wireframing and prototyping. In the end, I developed a WordPress theme for the brewery and launched the website in multiple languages.
The result is a fast website built for future growth, emphasizing on good storytelling and full-scale images that brings Svalbard’s nature to life.
